If I’m not in Grand Prix I am looking to race online. Whenever I play now, it is to try and get a 3 star ranking in every cup, and I’m currently stuck in 150cc. I don’t play my copy nearly as often as I used to, but I do pick it up more often than my other 3DS games when I’m just looking for something to kill some time. This isn’t surprising, 7 is an amazing racing game, and more importantly, an amazing Mario Kart.

Kamek: From Mario Kart Tour, the only medium-weight driver in the update.When we asked you guys a couple weeks ago what Mario Kart game you were still playing, we got a ton of different answers, ranging from Super Mario Kart all the way down to Mario Kart 7, but with the majority claiming the most recent entry for the 3DS. Wiggler: From Mario Kart 7, another heavyweight driver. Petey Piranha: From Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart Tour, a heavyweight driver. All of these characters have been featured in previous games. 
Wave 5 will add three new characters for players to choose from. There are three versions of the course, with the first one being added to Wave 5.
Vancouver Velocity: This course is based in Vancouver, Canada, and was part of the Vancouver Tour in Mario Kart Tour. It was created for Mario Kart Wii, then reused for Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour. Players go through rivers, forests, and even venture underwater. Koopa Cape: This course takes place on an island owned by Koopa Troopa. The course was first part of Mario Kart: Super Circuit and then added to Mario Kart Tour. The sun keeps going until the final lap when it is dark. Sunset Wilds: It is a desert-themed course with a sun setting in the background. There are three versions of this course that feature different landmarks. It includes landmarks from Los Angeles County, like the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach. Los Angeles Laps: A course from Mario Kart Tour based on Los Angeles, California. According to data pulled from the game, it will be a Mario Kart Tour course. 
It takes place in a giant bathroom and takes players through the counters, bathtubs, and other elements of the bathroom.
Squeaky Clean Sprint: The only original course created for this update. It was created for Mario Kart Wii and then added to Mario Kart Tour. It takes elements from other traffic-based courses in the game. #Best mario kart 7 tracks full#
Moonview Highway: It takes the players on a tour around a lit-up city under a full moon.This would be the fourth time this course is used in the game. In 2022, it made its Mario Kart Tour debut. The course appeared for the first time in Mario Kart: Double Dash and then was added to Mario Kart 7. Daisy Cruiser: This track takes place on a Daisy-themed cruise ship.The course features different landmarks from the city and is partially run on the Acropolis.
Athens Dash: Originally from Mario Kart Tour, this track is set in Athens, Greece.Wave 5 will include eight different courses divided into two cups. All new content will be available for players who purchased the Booster Course Pass.
